There are different beach entrances, where you will find beach pavilions, among other things. At post 9 (near Den Hoorn) and post 28 (near De Cocksdorp) the beach pavilions are open all year round.
There are lifeguards at most locations in Summer. Swimming is permitted along the entire North Sea beach, except for a stretch between posts 31 and 33.
Nude beaches
Nude recreation is permitted on two parts of the beach. Hoornderslag: ½ km south of Post 9, Den Hoorn Krimslag: 1 km south of Post 28, De Cocksdorp The nude beaches are indicated with signs and are not guarded. Nude recreation on the beach and in the water only, not in the dunes. There are no pavilions or other provisions.
