The Texel Lifeguards of the Dutch Royal Rescue Society work on beach parts 19, 20 and 21 near De Koog and part 28 near De Cocksdorp.

The lifeguards of the Utrecht Students' Union guard posts 9, 12, 15 and 17.

Opening hours Beach posts: 1st week June until 1st week September 09.00-18.00.

Other beach parts are not guarded!

Flags

Always keep an eye on the lifeguards' flags!

• Red flag: entering the sea is prohibited
• Yellow flag: dangerous for swimming
• White ? flag: a child has been lost or found
