The hotel is situated at one of the most scenic and friendly airports in the Netherlands. The airport is the only airport in the Netherlands where you can park a plane right in front of your hotel and terrace. The grand interior of the hotel is of first class quality! Our frequent guests greatly appreciate the discretion and privacy which we have to offer, this is proved by the questionnaires which are filled in on departure.

We greet every guest with true Texel hospitality: a complimentary bottle of wine of your choice, free internet, a free electronic safe, comfort and optimal service. The freedom and space which are so characteristic of the island and its airport are translated in the hotel's ambience: we aim to make the guest feel at home. Our motto is "Vrijheid Blijheid" (freedom and happiness). Both smoking and non-smoking suites are available on request. Pets are not allowed for hygiene and cleanliness reasons. Before the guests check in, the air in the suite is purified by our unique environmentally-friendly apparatus, this offers the perfect solution for guests with lung complaints, allergies etc: no unwelcome odours during your stay.

The hotel is nominated as the cleanest hotel in the Netherlands, due to the unique and efficient air purification system using uv-c and ozone techniques.

All 10 suites are equipped with self regulating air-conditioning, under-floor heating, free internet and a safe. You can make your favourite breakfast or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the luxurious modern kitchenette in your suite, complete with fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker, (there is however no cooker). You can also choose to treat yourself to the culinary delight of a champagne/ salmon breakfast in bed or a high quality culinary dinner. Room service is our speciality: you order, we deliver.

A stay in our hotel means pure luxury and enjoyment in a spacious suite; with a floor area of between from 43 to 67 m2, complete with air-conditioning, free internet and under-floor heating. For optimal relaxation there is a jacuzzi/ whirlpool and steam/ shower cabin. You'll even find a integrated Bose 3-2-1 audio/ DVD with home cinema system in your suite; remember to bring your favourite CDs and DVDs.

You'll find a flat screen TV in both the bedroom and living room. The island of Texel has something for everyone, whether you're a pilot, peace lover or fun lover you'll find plenty to do here.

The airport is closed at night between 20.00 and 09.00, so you can enjoy a serene nights sleep.

In the restaurant, which is separate from the hotel, you can enjoy a delicious drink, brunch, lunch or dinner. You'll be able to see parachutists making spectacular landings from your balcony or terrace and sport planes taking off and landing after over-the-island trips. Via the reception you can arrange diverse trips and activities and hire bikes.
