Description
Campsite "De Hoge Kamp" is a small, casual farm campsite, where you can really enjoy camping. The campsite is centrally located at about 1,5 kilometres from Den Burg, the main village of the island Texel. Beach and forrest are located at cycling distance. The plots are fitted with electricity and water. The sanitary is orderly and clean.
For the children there is a nice playground with swing, trampoline and sandbox.
The campsite is part of a sheepfarm with about 350 sheep. There are also goats, chickens and rabbits.
The farmer and his wife are happy to tell you all about life on the farm, the animals and nature.
For the use of electricity we charge 1,50 euro's per plot per night.
