De Armeense pianiste Lusine Khachatryan vertolkt Chopin's monumentale Polonaise-fantaisie, gevolgd door de bijzondere Volksdansen van haar landgenoot Komitas. Ze besluit haar programma met de Chaconne van J.S. Bach in de orkestrale benadering van Busoni. De Russische cellist Dmitry Volkov speelt de donkere romantiek van Rachmaninov's cellosonate met de zeer complexe pianopartij in de vaardige handen van Noriko Yabe. Tenslotte het Italiaanse temperament van Rossini, verwerkt in variaties door Paganini.
