Attractive, luxury and fully equipped nomadic home  with 4 beds and wood burning cooker. In the middle of National Parc Dunes of Texel, at campsite Loodsmansduin, you will find our nomadic tent named yurt. Yurt which means home in Mongolia. There is a warm and comfortable atmosphere in our tents. It will amaze you how much space there is.  A place to breathe freely, a place to find peace and quit. The circular room gives you a sense of security. You do not just stay in our yurts, but you are accommodated there. Once inside, the yurt breathes an atmosphere of sumptuous homeliness. It is stylishly furnished and attractively lit. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities to prepare an excellent meal. A yurt is an ecologically responsible accommodation. The thick layer of felt and the wood-burning cooker makes it also a very comfortable accommodation in the early and late season. All tents have a beautiful wooden floor, are equipped with a kitchen unit, a wood burning cooker, a cool box and a CD player. There is a dinner table, a sit-down, 4 wooden folding cots with futon provided with sheep wollen duvets, attractive electrical lights and wooden clothes chests. The floor is covered with rugs, hides and skins. Standard outside equipment: hammock, garden chars and picnictable. Excellent sanitation is found at 50 yards from the yurts.

Our yurts are in the dunes at camping site Loodsmansduin. This campsite is among the most quiet and most beautifull spots near Den Hoorn, situated in the National Park Dunes of Texel. It is within walking distance from the beach and the village where you will find various good restaurants, a wellappointed supermarket and places tot hire a bike. The camping site offers good facilities for children (there is a small swimming pool and playground near the main entrance). There are also excellent facilities for rambling and cycling.
