TESO has been operating the ferry service between Den Helder and Texel since 1907. The company enjoys a wide basis of support on the island. Most of the 3,000 shareholders are Texel residents. Teso’s objective, which has not changed since its establishment, is to provide a quality, affordable ferry service between Texel and the mainland. Teso is not a profit-making company. Any profits made are invested primarily in safety, quality and continuity, always focusing on the traveller’s interests.
