In life threatening situations call 112. The TESO boat delays departure when an ambulance is on its way. There's an ambulance post on Texel. At times without scheduled ferry crossings, an extra ferry crossing will be arranged for the ambulance.
In non life threatening situations you can visit a doctor during office hours. For urgent health care outside of office hours you can contact the central doctor's post (Centrale Huisartsenpost) at 31 (0)222-321143. It is only possible to visit a doctor after making an appointment by telephone. More information is available on www.huisartsendienst.nl.
