A double-decker ferry leaves from Den Helder every hour. The crossing lasts under half an hour; bookings are not possible and not necessary. Crossings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday offer reduced fares. Take a look at their site  www.teso.nl.

The ferry leaves Texel on the hour and Den Helder on the half hour; the first boat to Texel leaves at 6:00 a.m. on weekdays and the last boat leaves from Den Helder at 9:30 p.m.

Odd travel times:

• On Sundays and special holidays the first ferry leaves 1 hour later between April 1st until September, 30th.
• On Sundays and special holidays the first ferry leaves 2 hours later between October 1st until March 31st.
• On December, 31st the departure time of the ferry lapses at 9 pm and at 9.30 pm. .
