The visitors' Marina Waddenhaven Texel  is situated in Oudeschild, on the eastern side of the island. The centre of this fishing village, with amenities such as a supermarket, lies within walking distance. There are several cafes and restaurants in the harbour. You can reach the other villages on the island by bus. Bicycles can be hired at the harbour.

The visitors Marina is at the northernmost end of the harbour and has good facilities. It consists of floating jetties and has 250 berths. There is a slipway and fuel is available. There is also a small slipway at Paal 33 near De Cocksdorp.


The entire harbour is 3, 50 metres deep (NAP). The beautiful harbour building provides sanitary facilities and other amenities. The creation of a Wadden beach near the harbour will soon be begun. The plan is that the beach will be completed by the end of July.
