Visiting Texel with a group?
Texel is nearer than you'd think and Texel has a lot to offer, also for groups. Above all the Texel ferry is the cheapest of all the Wadden Islands. The ferry ‘Dokter Wagemaker' offer groups a special space for rent. 

By car
Are you travelling by car? You do not have to reserve a place on the boat. A return journey with a car (incl. max. 9 passengers) costs € 24,50 on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and € 35,- from Friday to Monday. More information about visiting by car

Public transport / foot passengers
Texel is easily accessible by public transport. You travel by train to Den Helder, then take a connecting bus from the station to the ferry terminal. You then board the boat as foot passenger.  The price for foot passengers is only €2,50 per person (return). More information about public transport.

Wishing to come by coach?
Texel has two first class bus companies which can collect passengers form the whole of The Netherlands, and which can also provide transport for groups on Texel. Wishing to visit Texel on foot or by bicycle?
You can park your car at the ferry terminal, although the car park is busy in the summer months. In this case you can park at the nearby Rijkswerf Willemsoord. This is a 15 minute walk from the boat. A bicycle (incl. extra passenger) costs only € 5 for a return ferry journey.
