This year sees the thirteenth edition of Texel Culinair, held from 8 to 10 September, in De Koog.
In 3 days, around 100 different little dishes will be produced by the head chefs of more than 30 Texel restaurants, beaneries, pubs and catering companies.
The chefs are battling it out in this culinary competition to discover who can create the most delicious dish using typical Texel ingredients.
For three days, visitors can taste any or all of the dishes in this parade of culinary delights on presentation of Kôgertjes, which are worth EUR 2. Every competitor must offer at least 1 sample dish for 1 Kôgertje.
