Bed & Bike Oudeschild
On the outskirts of Oudeschild, Ab Ovo Bed & Bike offers two charming rooms: the Beach Room and the Forest Room. Guests can use the accompanying Ab Ovo Bikes to explore the island, and there are several extras, such as free Wi-Fi and ample parking. Oudeschild boasts a harbor, the Kaap Skil museum, and several restaurants.
Location
This bed & bike Oudeschild is located on the edge of the fishing village of Oudeschild. Within a few minutes you can walk to the village center with a bicycle rental service and the unique Kaap Skil Museum. The harbor is located directly behind the dike. There are tour boats where you can go shrimp fishing, seal watching, sport fishing and mudflat hiking. There are beautiful cycling and walking routes around Oudeschild, such as the Boerenroute and the old Skillepaadje. Just outside the village is the natural-cultural-historical area De Hoge Berg, with tuunwalls and sheep pens.

Ab Ovo means a new beginning; this name is the family name of this beautiful spot. When we met again, the spark immediately flew again… Childhood sweethearts reconnecting, a new beginning. We hope you find peace, comfort, and love at Bed & Bike Oudeschild and enjoy our beautiful fishing village where there's plenty to do. Our Texel farmhouse nestled between the stables and the jetty.
Tips from the host
AB OVO is located on the edge of our beautiful fishing village of Oudeschild. You can cycle (on the Ab Ovo bikes) or walk to Oudeschild harbor. If you go the other way, you'll quickly reach the charming village of Den Burg. Our farmhouse is surrounded by sheep and horses, and we have an extra room for our guests where you can relax with coffee, tea, or something else. An ironing board, iron, washing machine, and dryer are also provided.
