Location
Chalet Duunzicht is quietly situated in the northern part of the island. The Wadden Sea beach is within walking distance. This expansive dune area, which begins practically on your doorstep, is part of the Dunes of Texel National Park. It stretches from the lighthouse to the southern tip of Texel, offering wonderful cycling and hiking opportunities. A 10-minute walk from the chalet takes you to the lighthouse and the wide beach beyond. This is where the Wadden Sea and the North Sea meet. Texel's northernmost village, De Cocksdorp, is about 2 kilometers away. There you'll find charming restaurants and terraces, a few shops, and a supermarket. Various attractions and sights are nearby, including De Texelse Golf Course, Labora Ice Cream Farm, Wadden Ferry De Vriendschap, the airport, and a parachute center.

Introduce
We're the Boon family, and we run a farm with dairy cows. We use the milk from our cows to make delicious Texel farm cheese. Besides the farm, we also offer this beautifully situated chalet for rent, as well as a cozy mini-campsite.
Tips from the host
The Wadden Sea beach is just a 5-minute walk away. Here you'll also find the Wadden ferry to Vlieland and the Kaap Noord restaurant. A further 5 minutes will take you to the lighthouse and the North Sea beach.
