Location

This holiday home is located in the quiet bungalow park Slufterhoek, in the north of Texel. You will be staying here near the nature reserve De Slufter, where the sea has free rein and special plants grow. Through De Slufter you can walk to the vast North Sea beach in 20 minutes. The nature reserve De Muy is also nearby. Here you can take beautiful walks. From your holiday address it is 6 kilometers to De Cocksdorp, the northernmost village on Texel. The seaside resort of De Koog is also 6 km by bike, but then to the south. Beautiful cycle routes through the dunes lead to both villages and you will find shops, terraces and restaurants there. In the immediate vicinity you will find a restaurant (750m) and various attractions, such as the airport, parachuting center and ice cream farm Labora.

Ruim, netjes, fijne locatie (bij de slufter), komen terug

Huisje was heel schoon, en had alles was wij nodig hadden. Was even lekker ontspannen.

Heerlijk huisje en erg rustig

Erg leuk huisje, ruim en met een persoonlijke touch van de eigenaars. Fijne, ruime keuken. We hebben er heel goed geslapen, het enige geluid zijn de vogels 's ochtends vroeg. Prima bedden ook. Grote tuin met uitzicht op de weilanden.

Die Lage des Hauses war sehr ruhig mit Blick aufs Feld, was uns sehr gefallen hat . Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Betten waren super. Alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tips from the host

Start from restaurant De Slufter and walk under the dunes towards Cocksdorp. You'll automatically reach Oorsprongweg (the "blind path"), where you can cross the dunes on the left to the "Diepe gat" viewpoint. From there, you can walk through the Slufter back to the famous staircase. Finish with a hot chocolate at restaurant De Slufter!
