De Toes is a small-scale holiday park, just outside the picturesque Oosterend on the east side of Texel. From the park you can walk through the picturesque streets with beautiful facades to the center. Around the church there are a few shops and restaurants. In and around Oosterend there are various walking routes. Behind the dike you will find a small beach and the Wadden Sea. Inside the dike lies the Vogelboulevard, a series of small nature reserves and a popular resting place for birds. The photogenic polder mill Het Noorden is located in the area.
