This new, thatched, detached holiday home (2021) offers a beautiful view of the dunes and is located in the outskirts of Texel's northernmost village De Cocksdorp. The house is within walking distance of the dune area and is located behind nature reserve De Slufter, which is 1.5 km away. The house is located between the farmlands and offers a view of the lighthouse. The view is unobstructed, which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nature. This holiday home is located near De Texelse golf course, Ice farm Labora and the village with supermarket, restaurants and bicycle rental 2.5 km away. The North Sea beach and Wadden beach are located 5 km away and are easily accessible by car and bicycle.
Layout:
The spacious living room has a sitting area and is equipped with cable TV and Sonos speaker. The open kitchen is equipped with Quooker, dishwasher, combi microwave, filter coffee machine and Dolce Gusto. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with sun shower, sink and hair dryer. There is a separate toilet in the hall.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. A stair gate is attached to the top of the stairs. The bathroom has a whirlpool and a walk-in shower. There is another separate toilet in the hall. The terrace is located behind the house and is furnished with garden furniture. The large garden is surrounded by trees and offers privacy.
Extras:
The Duinoord holiday home is built energy-neutral and is equipped with a heat pump, making it comfortably warm in winter and nice and cool in summer. The house has three private parking spaces at the house, one of which is equipped with a charging point for electric cars. There is a washing machine, dryer, high chair and fold-out cot available.
