The thatched farmhouse De Florijn is quietly located in the former fishing village East on the Wadden side of Texel. De Florijn has 4 lodges. This quiet side of the island offers many opportunities for cyclists and walkers. Bird watchers also like to be in this area. The dike is about 500 meters away, with the Wadden Sea behind it, where countless birds nest and forage. The Vogelboulevard, with special bird reserves, is located within the dikes.
