At the rear there is a living room (30 m2) with a sitting area, TV, DVD player and a dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner electric hob, Senseo, filter coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, freezer, oven and dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. On the top floor there are two bedrooms with a sink. There is a bedroom with two single beds and a room with four single beds. All beds have duvets. There are two bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet, 1 of which is on the ground floor and 1 is upstairs. This holiday home has a large enclosed garden and a terrace. Garden furniture is available.

De Cocksdorp is the youngest village on Texel and is located at the very northern tip of the island. Your largely detached holiday home ''Ganzenvlucht'' is located next to the owner's house on the edge of this quiet, attractive village with a few shops and numerous restaurants. At the front of Ganzenvlucht you have a beautiful view over the Roggesloot nature reserve / village view. This area with many flowers and meadow and reed birds can be easily reached on foot from the holiday home. North of the village you will find the symbol of Texel: the lighthouse. The beach around the lighthouse is impressively wide and seals are regularly found on the waterfront. If you want to see the animals up close, a seal tour with the passenger ship De Vriendschap is recommended.

Die Lage war super.Die Wohnung entsprach leider nicht den Fotos.Der Garten sehr ungepflegt und hatte einige Löcher im Zaun.So konnten die Hunde abhauen. Leider war die Vermieterin 2x unangemeldet in der Wohnung

das Erdgeschoss mit Küche und Wohnzimmer ist gut ausgestattet, die Schlafzimmer spartanisch. Die Betten simpel 80x200, weniger geht nicht. Nebenan der Supermarkt, gegenüber ein großer Parkplatz mit 2 Ladestationen für unser Elektroauto. Erreichbarkeit des Vermieters null, aber über die Touristinfo ging es (die Heizung war ausgefallen, aber hat dann sofort wieder funktioniert). Kein deutsches Fernsehen. Für Hunde optimal mit großem, eingezäunten Garten.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
