Luxury apartment with enclosed garden on a horse stable
This apartment features a living room with a seating area, TV, and dining area. The beautiful open kitchen is luxuriously equipped with a refrigerator, combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, Quooker, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, and induction hob. There are two bedrooms, each with two single box-spring beds. The large bathroom has a rain shower and toilet. The apartment has its own enclosed garden. You overlook the horse stables. This house is built entirely in an environmentally friendly way using lime hemp. This ensures good insulation and a healthy indoor climate. All windows are fitted with mosquito nets. You can book our apartment with one dog, but if you have two small to medium-sized dogs, we are of course happy to make an exception. Your horse can also come along on holiday. Please inquire about the possibilities.

This house, built in 2023, is surrounded by meadows with horses and other animals, just outside Den Burg. The village center is 1.5 kilometers from your accommodation. In the cozy center you will find nice shops, restaurants, historic buildings and terraces. The village is located at the foot of the Hoge Berg nature reserve, the oldest part of Texel. In this green area you can walk or cycle between typical Texel garden walls and sheep pens. The extensive National Park, with various nature reserves, is located on the west side of the island. The wide North Sea beach is 6 kilometers away. The Texelhopper stops in front of the door.

Special about this accommodation
This location is ideally suited for a holiday with your dog(s) and/or horse(s). We are situated close to the forest. Our animals are very popular with children. The horses and our little dog love to be petted, and ducks walk or swim everywhere, including with ducklings in the spring. Of course, you are also in the right place with us even without pets. Everything is thoroughly cleaned after every stay. You can charge your car in the private parking lot. There is a 4-person apartment, but you can also rent a B&B room in addition, allowing you to come to us with a larger group! This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. 'ZoTexels' is a network of private accommodations where guests can savour the authentic flavour and hospitality of Texel.

Important to know
Dogs must be kept on a leash in the yard due to other animals (ducks, cats, other dogs, and horses). Your dog is allowed to run free in your own garden, but it is not intended as a dog toilet. Your private garden also features a beautiful terrace with garden furniture and a parasol. You can step directly into the garden from the apartment through the sliding doors. It is important to know that our apartment is located inside our own home. There are also three separate B&B rooms located within the building.

Introduce
We are David & Leonie, both raised Texel residents and have been living in this beautiful place since 2013. In 2023 we replaced our old house for a beautiful new house in which we built a beautiful apartment for our guests. David is a veterinarian and likes odd jobs and Leonie runs the horse boarding stable that we have at home. We would like to welcome you to our new home, possibly with your dogs and/or horses. For the horses you can contact Leonie. The apartment has its own enclosed garden. You can charge your car with us in one of our private parking spaces.
Tips from the host
Enjoy a holiday to Texel with your dog or your own horse? That is possible with us! Both the forest and the beach are easily accessible from here. In addition to our luxury summer house, we also rent out B&Bs, which have a view of the stables. Ideal for a short holiday with your own horse. You can ride fantastically on the beach here and the riding and walking paths in the forest are clearly indicated with signs. You can book with us with 1 dog. But if you have two small dogs, we make an exception.
