Upon arrival, you walk through the alley to the left into a lockable bicycle shed and to the right through the door to the cottage. Via the hallway, featuring a large doormat, coat rack, stairs to the upper floor, and an alcove with a washing machine and vacuum cleaner, you walk past the bathroom and downstairs bedroom to the living room with an open kitchen. Everything is furnished in a cozy and modern style. The seating area includes a two-seater sofa, a separate swivel chair, and two side tables. There is a TV on a vanity unit, a freestanding cupboard, and a round dining table with three chairs. The brand-new kitchen, including a Quooker, is generously equipped. Pleated blinds and sheer curtains hang in front of the windows as window coverings. All casement windows, both upstairs and downstairs, are fitted with insect screens. The two exterior doors also have screen doors. Upstairs, you walk via the landing with a large skylight, a small desk, a chest of drawers, and a clothes rack to the double bedroom. There is also a large skylight here. Downstairs, there is a separate door from the hallway leading to the spacious, sheltered garden. You can also access the alley/bicycle shed from the outside via a gate in the garden. Includes charging facilities for bicycles, chair cushions, BBQ, and clothes drying rack.

A comfortable, detached holiday home for adults only. It is situated on a privately owned, quiet property on the outskirts of Den Burg. This is the largest village on Texel and has by far the most amenities. You can cycle into the charming village center within 5 minutes. Here you will find a mix of well-known retail chains, unique boutiques, supermarkets, numerous restaurants, a cinema, and cozy terraces. In the immediate vicinity, there are beautiful cycling routes through the countryside towards the Hoge Berg and the fishing village of Oudeschild. You can also enjoy wonderful walks in this culturally and historically significant area with meadows full of sheep, traditional stone walls, pools, and sheep sheds. The fantastic North Sea beach is 7 km away. The Dunes of Texel National Park, with its vast forest and dune area, is also located on this west coast.

We, two true Texel natives, would love to welcome you and let you share in the enjoyment of our wonderful island of Texel. Both recently retired, had a holiday home renovated, and have now taken on the role of hostess and host. A fun new challenge, one that Grandpa used to have as a side job here on this property. The name of the cottage comes from him. Even back then, the "holidaymakers" would complain about the weather, and he would always say: "After the rain comes sunshine!" This is abbreviated as Narekozo.
How wonderful it is to walk from our holiday home into the Hoge Berg area at sunrise or sunset and enjoy the sweeping views in the beautiful colors of the sun!
