Sleep and camp in a quiet location in the middle of forest De Dennen
The spacious pet-free Comfort plots, suitable for a tent, folding trailer or caravan (no campers) of a maximum length of 8 meters, are equipped with a TV, water and electricity connection (16 amps). There is also a waste water drain. The heated sanitary pavilion has sufficient showers, washing facilities and toilets. The separate washing cabins offer a lot of privacy. There is space to wash up in the central area. Please note: our comfort plots are not suitable for campers (separate camper plots available). It is not possible to camp with us with a tandem axle.

Location
Campsite Woud is located in the heart of the Texel forest area De Dennen, on the west side of the island. The campsite is located three kilometers west of Den Burg. You can cycle from the campsite to the wide North Sea beach in 10 minutes through the forest and dune area of National Park De Texelse Duinen. In the vicinity you will find several restaurants and viewpoints. Beautiful cycling, walking and riding trails run through the forest area.

Special about this accommodation
WiFi available. For children there is a playground with sandbox, climbing course, bird's nest swing and table tennis table. The sanitary pavilion has special facilities for babies, toddlers and disabled people. There is a parking lot at the front of the campsite (1 car is included for free). Luggage carts are available.

Important to know
When booking a Comfort pitch, you must indicate in the options the type of camping equipment (maximum 1) with which you come to Texel (tent, trailer tent or caravan). Our Comfort pitches are NOT suitable for campers. If the caravan is larger than 8 meters (incl. drawbar), we request that you inquire in advance whether this is possible. A tandem axle caravan cannot be placed with us. Children up to 3 years old are free. Electricity (16 amp connection), the kWh used will be paid for afterwards upon departure. The campsite is car-free. Young people under the age of 23 are welcome if their parents are present for the entire period.

Tips for your stay
Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
