This detached holiday home is quietly situated in De Koog, behind the owner's house, on the edge of the forest. A 6-minute walk takes you to the charming Dorpsstraat, with its numerous shops and restaurants. The seaside resort borders a vast dune area, forests, and farmland. It's a great base for exploring Texel's natural beauty: the De Nederlanden, De Muy, and De Slufter nature reserves are nearby. The wide path from De Nederlanden to De Slufter is perfect for walking and cycling. The expansive North Sea beach is a 10-minute bike ride away. Bikes can be rented in the village. Nearby, you'll also find museums, riding stables, and the Ecomare seal sanctuary.

Because of its location near the center of De Koog and the beach, you'll hardly need your car during your stay. You can park securely in the private parking lot in front of the house.
