De Waal, which is 2.5 kilometers away, is the smallest village on Texel and has beautiful farms and historic buildings. You will find a restaurant, cozy terraces, bicycle rental and the Museum Waelstee. The village borders the Waalenburg nature reserve, with rare plant species and meadow birds. You can enjoy cycling and walking. In Oosterend (2.8 kilometers away) you will find several restaurants, a butcher and a supermarket. The North Sea beach is 10 kilometers away. Mooie rustige plek
