De Bunders
De Bunders is located just behind the Ruigedijk, a beautiful old dune dike. Nature reserves such as Waalenburg, the Muy and the Slufter are a few km away. The North and South Bunder are situated in the middle of the farmland, where potatoes, beets and grain grow, together under one roof. In the middle of the island, in peace and space, with a wide view to the dunes..
Location
Located on the Limietweg cycle path, near the Waalenburg nature reserve, the Muy and the Slufter, in the middle of the countryside you will find the Bunders. You can enjoy a wonderful holiday there in 6 persons house de Noordbunder and 6 persons house de Zuidbunder. Peace and space, where hares and pheasants walk through the garden. The village of De Koog is 4 km away by bike, Den Burg is 5 km. The beach and the Slufter are also 4 km away, as we are almost in the middle of the island, everything is close by. The distance to the boat is 10 km, and the lighthouse 12 km. The houses are comfortably and cosily furnished, with a fine kitchen and wonderful bathrooms, a large terrace and large lawn. The houses are new and are equipped with underfloor heating, the latest heat pumps for heating and cooling and heat recovery. Everything for a pleasant living environment. The beds are made and the towels are ready. There is always a Texel delicacy and eggs from our own chickens on arrival. You can also order groceries at various supermarkets and have them delivered on the day of arrival. We store it for you in the holiday home, ask for the possibilities. How wonderful is that, you step inside, grab a cold drink from the fridge, open the garden doors ... the enjoyment can begin!

This house is connected to holiday home De Noordbunder. The house is fully equipped with underfloor heating and is heated and cooled by a heat pump. Energy label A+++. The house has a unique ventilation system for a pleasant living environment. The beds are made upon arrival and the towels and kitchen towels are also ready. There are two free parking spaces available per house. You can use a laundry service (for a fee). If you are looking for something for 12 people, you can book both houses. This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. 'ZoTexels' is a network of private accommodations where guests can savour the authentic flavour and hospitality of Texel.

After 17 years of Zeedistel and 23 years of Hoogkoog, we have been able to build 2 beautiful 6p houses on the place where we live. Tips from the host
The holiday home is a few km from the nature reserves Waalenburg, the Muy and the Slufter, where you can enjoy walking and cycling. Every area is different, it is beautiful early in the morning, and how about watching the sun go down on the beach. The airport is also close by, for plane spotting, parachuting, or visiting the museum. How nice is it to tap a soft ice cream yourself at the farmer down the road, from fresh cow's milk of course.
