Tuesday 26 April 2022 Carlijn Lammers, researcher in training at NIOZ, will be talking about the dunes with a real sandbox in the library. Why do dunes exist and how do they form? Which plants grow on the dunes and why do they only grow there? She shows that dunes are very special and that there is much to tell about them.
