A fun interactive exhibition about the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site at Ecomare. In Wonderlijk Wad you can see and experience the grandeur of the Wadden Sea. Children discover in games which route a canoe travels annually or when the coal under the Wadden Sea was formed. An impressive time-lapse film shows the tides and the ever-changing landscape. The threats are also discussed: climate change, pollution, overfishing. The exhibition is free for visitors to the museum. Opening hours: open daily (except Christmas Day and New Year's Day) from 9.30 am - 5 pm. The ticket office closes at 4.30 pm.
