On Friday, June 26, 2026, the Rede van Texel will be delivered by Jessica den Outer. During this annual event, environmental lawyer and author Jessica den Outer is given the stage and complete freedom to speak on a topic of her choice. Jessica den Outer (1996) has a background in environmental law and has been active within the international Nature Rights movement since 2017. Through her work, Den Outer operates at the intersection of nature conservation, justice, and societal change. Her innovative vision aligns with the character of the Rede van Texel: a platform for free thinkers who inspire, challenge, and offer new perspectives. The Zeemanskerkje in Oudeschild is the perfect location for this. Characterized by a rich history as the world's busiest anchorage in the 17th century, the famous Reede van Texel serves as the backdrop for grand stories and special encounters. Then and now.
