Rede van Texel 2022

* This activity is sold out, unfortunately you can no longer buy a ticket. Friday 24 June 2022 De Rede van Texel is a lecture by a well-known Dutchman. This year the Rede van Texel will be nominated Femke Halsema, the mayor of Amsterdam. Unlike previous years, this time the lecture will not be held in the Zeemanskerkje, but in the Maartenskerk in Oosterend. The lecture was created in 2013 on the occasion of the pre-SAIL at Texel. Tall ships moor at the anchorage where they already anchored in The Golden Age, namely at Oudeschild. This was the busiest anchorage in the world in The Golden Age: the so-called Reede van Texel. Times: 3.45 pm (church opens from 3 pm). Costs: €7.50 per person. Price includes a drink. Tickets are available, click on 'View times' to book or visit the Texel Tourist Office.

Location

The lecture will take place in the Maartenskerk. Kerkstraat 2, 1794 AM Oosterend.


Important to know

The number of parking spaces in and around Oosterend is limited. We therefore advise you to come to the Rede van Texel by bike.
