Schapenboerderij Texel (Texel sheep farm) is located on the edge of the Hoge Berg. There is plenty to do on this farm. You can cuddle lambs, but also other small animals, such as guinea pigs. Sit comfortably on a straw bale and have a lamb on your lap to stroke the wonderfully soft woolen fur. In addition, there are regular demonstrations of herding sheep with dogs. Beautiful to see! There is also a farm shop with all sheep related products and a very nice playground. Opening hours: Mid-February to the Christmas holidays, open daily from 10 am to 4 pm. There is a sheep herding demonstration at 11 am and 2 pm. Cost: up to 2 years free. Children 2 to 12 years € 5,-. 12 years and older € 6,-. You reserve for half an hour cuddling lambs, after that you can walk around the site without obligation. Parking, cuddling lambs and all other activities inside and outside the stable are included in your ticket. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

That is possible at Texel Sheep Farm. Lambs all year round At Texel Sheep Farm there are lambs almost all year round. They love attention and like to be petted and cuddled. Enjoy farm life on the farm. You learn all about the work on the farm and in the stable you walk among the sheep and get to know the lambs. With a bit of luck you can even witness a birth! They have no fewer than 25 different varieties! Look for the differences yourself when you take a tour of the stable. Other animals Besides sheep, there are also goats, chickens, pigs, runner ducks, rabbits, ponies and even a donkey. Roll in the straw, have a picnic on the farmyard, ride a pony or have a coffee in the cozy canteen. A sheep herding demonstration with kelpies is provided daily at 11 am and 2 pm. There is also a nice playground with a cable car and bouncy castle and a nice farm shop with all kinds of sheep-related products. Dogs are not allowed.
