Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026 Do you dare? Wampex 2.0 is the adventurous night hike on Texel, full of cryptic clues, challenges, and teamwork. The fourth edition promises another evening of perseverance, mud, and surprises. In teams, you'll navigate past checkpoints with a map and compass, solve challenges along the way, and discover Texel in a completely different way. Perfect for friends, colleagues, and anyone looking for a sporting challenge. The Wampex phenomenon has a long tradition on Texel (since 1980) and was given a new lease of life in 2022 with Wampex 2.0, inspired by the previous years of "Waanzin" (Madness). Volunteers are also welcome to help around the route and at checkpoints.
