Maria's Hoeve is located north of the village of Den Hoorn, on the west side of Texel. The area is rural and you have a wide view over the meadows. The Texel Dennenbos is 1 kilometer away. Scattered through the forest there are several viewpoints. The Fonteinsnol lookout tower is one of the most famous lookout points. Beautiful walking and cycling routes run through this green area, part of the Dunes of Texel National Park. From Maria's Hoeve you can cycle to the wide North Sea beach within 10 minutes. The villages of Den Hoorn and Den Burg are about 3 kilometers away. You will find shops, supermarkets, restaurants and terraces. There are several farm shops in the area.
