Medical care for visitors

On Texel we strive to provide the widest possible range of medical care for visitors. On these pages you will find information about GPs, home care, ambulances and dialysis.

In life-threatening situations, call 112. Emergency transport to hospital is guaranteed day and night. The TESO ferry will wait to leave Texel if an ambulance is on its way. At times when there is no scheduled service, a special boat sails for the ambulance.
