With his lute, Dingo Davidoff takes you on a musical journey. A lute is a Renaissance instrument that looks a lot like a guitar. Davidoff specializes in Frisian music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque.
The musical journey begins with ten bells from the Oldehove in Leeuwarden and continues its way along all the sandbanks, gouwen and islands. The performance will end with a fatal battle in North Friesland in which a combination of all areas can be heard. Each province is introduced with an explanation of the situations and musical ideas. The listener also receives a program booklet with the fictional map of Friesland and the corresponding route.
Where: Hoornder church, Den Hoorn.
