In the charming church of Den Hoorn with its white tower, international musicians perform in a number of evening concerts, organized by The International Holland Music Sessions.
The International Holland Music Sessions is one of the main festivals in the world to support extraordinary international top talent in the classical music.
During the concerts, one can enjoy musical highlights from international soloists from the violin- cello and piano repertoire.
The concerts take place on Monday, the concerts start at 20.15 hours, before and after the concerts there is the possibility to have a drink in the adjacent building.
Holland Music Sessions presents these future soloists and highly gifted chamber musicians. They perform prominent chamber music including works from Mussorgsky and Chopin, with youthful enthusiasm.
Beloved Chamber Music
Every year Holland Music Sessions presents the most impressive young top talent of the past season to perform in the New Masters on Tour concert series in the Hoornder church.
Anastasia Feruleva and Yu Nitahara open the season with a splendid program, which includes some of the most beloved chamber music. Dutch pianist Frank van de Laar will accompany cellist Anastasia Feruleva in the first part of the program. After the intermission Yu Nitahara will play works by Chopin and Modest Mussorgsky.
Both Anastasia Feruleva and Yu Nitahara have become internationally known chamber musicians who are already in frequent demand. Feruleva won second Prize in 2017 during the prestigious Cello Biennale in Amsterdam in 2017 whereas Nitahara won first prize in the International Hummel Piano Competition in 2017 in Bratislava. Both musicians will enable us to hear some of the most beautiful chamber music performed by passionate youth.
