You can view the temporary exhibition about container shipping in 'Maritiem- en Juttersmuseum Flora'. In recent years, everything washed up on the Texel beach. Among other things, shoes, cosmetics, cigarettes and much more. A Texel lady has knitted a sweater out of baled cotton, which can also be seen in the exhibition. The container ship MSC Zoë recently lost more than 300 containers near Terschelling. Various items also washed up on Texel; including children's jackets, car parts and seats. Part of this can be seen in the exhibition "De containerervaart".
Where: Maritiem- en Juttersmuseum Flora, De Koog.
Opening hours: open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: entrance to the museum.
Corona measures: A one-way route has been made through the museum, one walks through the entire museum and misses nothing. Furthermore, signs and arrows on the ground that indicate the route.
