Rent a StrandHopper

Accessible Texel for everyone! At Paal 17 and Paal 28 it is possible to drive up the beach independently with a beach wheelchair. Stichting Integratie Gehandicapten Texel (SIGT) has Cadweazle's and StrandHoppers available. With the StrandHopper, the beach of Texel becomes even more accessible for people with a disability and the elderly, who want to drive independently along the tide line. Reservations are recommended.

Where: for rent at Paal 17 and 28. When the pavilions are open, the electric beach wheelchairs are available for rent.
