This page sets out the terms and conditions for promotional games of chance organised by VVV Texel.

• Participation in a game of chance organised by VVV Texel is free and open to everyone.
• However, individuals under the age of 18 may only participate in a game of chance with the consent of a parent or carer.
• Participants under the age of 18 herewith declare that a parent or carer has given them permission to participate in the game of chance and must submit this written permission to VVV Texel immediately on request.
• Although (temporary and permanent) employees of VVV Texel are permitted to participate, they will not be able to win a prize.
• If information about a game of chance organised by VVV Texel is communicated via Facebook, its promotion will not have been sponsored, approved or managed by Facebook in any way whatsoever and the game of chance will not have any association with Facebook either.
• If the prize for a game of chance consists of entry tickets for an event, the winner will not be able to claim any form of compensation if the event is cancelled.
• Participants give permission for their personal data to be processed in connection with participation in a game of chance.
• VVV Texel will add any personal data collected from participants to the client database solely for the purpose of the game of chance in question.
• The personal data collected will not be provided to partners or third parties without the consent of participants. Personal data may be used to carry out and announce the winner of a game of chance.
• VVV Texel will treat any personal data collected as confidential, in accordance with GDPR legislation.
• No correspondence will be entered into about the results of a game of chance organised by VVV Texel.
• In addition to these general terms and conditions, most individual promotional games of chance will be subject to specific game conditions relating to participation in the game. By participating in a game, participants are agreeing to the applicability of the general terms and conditions and the specific game conditions.
