Artist Greet Swabedissen has her studio in Oudeschild. Here she makes paintings with Texel as her greatest source of inspiration. Paintings Greet has always had the desire to paint and when she came to live on Texel, this wish came true. She has taken painting lessons and with great pleasure she paints landscapes and animals. She uses oil paint for this. Greet regularly exhibits her art in De Hoeksteen next to the Hoornder church and in various other places on the island. Slate Besides paintings on canvas, Greet also paints on slate. Here too she gets her inspiration mainly from the Texel nature. Painting with oil on slate gives a special and playful effect to the paintings.
