The Wezenspyk cheese farm has been making delicious Texel cow, sheep and goat cheese for more than 35 years. These cheeses are regularly awarded. In 2014/2015, the Orekéés received the Super Gold designation at the World Cheese Award.
Experience the farm life on Wezenspyk
Take a look at the traditional cheese making and follow the Landscape path to the Sheep Museum. Taste the taste of our cheeses in the farm shop and enjoy a cup of coffee in the Cheese Café. There is cheese fondue on Saturday from noon to 4 PM.
Opening hours
Wezenspyk is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
This also applies to the sheep museum.
Throughout the year we have a farm tour + tasting every Saturday, starting at 11:00.
And from April to October also every Tuesday and Friday, starting at 2 p.m.

Farm tour and cheese tasting
Fun facts about Texel, the Texel sheep and of course cheese making are discussed in this tour. It takes about 1 hour and ends with a tasty cheese tasting with a view of the cheese storage with about 25,000 kg of cheese!
Throughout the year there is a farm tour + tasting on Saturdays, starting at 11:00.
And from April to October also every Tuesday and Friday, starting at 2 p.m.
Duration: About 1 hour
Costs: € 5.50 p.p. and € 2.75 for children up to 10 years old
