The village borders the De Nederlanden nature reserve, which is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park. You can enjoy cycling and walking. The North Sea beach is 2 kilometers away. "Herzlich Willkommen" wird hier groß geschrieben

Unkomplizierter Empfang. Die modern eingerichtete Wohnung ist sehr sauber, liebevoll aber nicht übertrieben eingerichtet. Alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl! Für Hunde gut geeignet, der kl. Garten mit Terrasse ist eingezäunt (hohe Baumstämme als Zaun). Jedoch ist zu berücksichtigen, dass die Treppe zum 1. OG etwas steil ist (Absperrgitter oben und unten sind vorhanden). Der alte Bauernhof ist sehr ruhig außerhalb von De Koog gelegen. Diese Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert!

De Stormvogel ligt vlakbij het strand, bos en het centrum van De Koog. Hier merk je niks van want het is heerlijk rustig. De tuin met het hoge hek is ideaal, zo konden onze honden gewoon los in de tuin zonder te ontsnappen. Het is modern ingericht met ruime slaapkamers en badkamer. Je hebt je eigen parkeerplaats en er is een speeltoestel voor kinderen buiten het hek in de tuin. Soms was het gehorig maar verder is het gewoon een topplek om je vakantie te vieren op Texel.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
