Your beds will be made upon arrival, and towels will be provided. A hairdryer is provided. For the children, there's a large trampoline and a climbing frame with a swing and slide (shared with our other guests). Horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a very friendly large dog roam our grounds. The bus stops just 50 meters away. This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. 'ZoTexels' is a network of private accommodations where guests can savour the authentic flavour and hospitality of Texel.
This room is offered without breakfast. You can bring your horse. You can book horse stalls (including pasture access) or pasture access only when booking. The stable does not include mucking out, but we can do that for you for an additional €5.00 per day. If you would like to rent more than four horse stalls at Ut Boerenhuusie, please contact the Texel Tourist Information Office (VVV Texel) for availability. PLEASE NOTE: During equestrian events such as SGW, SMW, and the Texel Weekend, renting a horse stall is only possible after consultation with the VVV Texel. Young people are only permitted after consulting with the VVV Texel by phone (if you agree, you must pay a €200 deposit in cash upon key collection). Would you like to stay longer than six nights? Please contact the VVV Texel, who can arrange this for you.

הדובדבן בקצפת של הטיול שלנו להולנד
We are Edwin and Petruska Timmer, we have been living in an authentically built farmhouse called "Mon Désir" from 1885 since January 2017. Before that, we have always lived in Oudeschild. In recent years we have been busy turning the farm and our spacious yard into an attractive place. We are very proud of how it has grown into a beautiful place where our guests also enjoy the peace and space. We rent out a B&B (without breakfast and for a maximum of 4 people) and a touring caravan with a large, fully cosily furnished living space awning (max. 4 people) for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. We also offer horse owners the opportunity to take their horse to the island so that owner and horse can experience the ultimate Texel feeling together. But of course you are also very welcome without a horse. Hopefully see you soon! Kind regards, Edwin & Petruska Timmer.
Our farm is located at (80 meters) walking distance from "het Hoge Berg" area. You can go hiking, cycling or horse riding here. The Hoge Berg is a boulder clay block from the Ice Age that lies 15.3 meters above sea level. In the Ice Age, the glaciers from the north took with them a solid mixture of boulders, gravel and clay, which was pushed up by the ice. The old villages of Den Hoorn, Den Burg, De Waal and Oosterend are also located on such higher grounds. This entire area is called the Old Land of Texel. You can still see the typical Texel garden walls and sheep sheds. Especially in the Hoge Berg area, between Den Burg and Oudeschild, many have been preserved. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is approximately 2.8 kilometers away. In Den Burg you can go shopping and / or enjoy a delicious cup of coffee on one of the many attractive terraces. At 50 meters walking distance from the farm is the bus stop, where Connexxion line 28/828 stops. Paid parking applies throughout Texel by means of an E-vignette. Info can be found on www.texelevignet.nl For the holidaymaker there is plenty to do on our island; from a long nature walk to skydiving, something for everyone. In the high season from July to the end of August there is a daily fair or market in one of our historic villages.
