B&B Bed en Beach can be found on the edge of De Cocksdorp, the most northern village of Texel. In and around the village you will find a number of extensive specialty shops, a supermarket, restaurants and bicycle rental. From your holiday home you can cycle to the lighthouse in 10 minutes. The beach around the lighthouse is impressively wide and offers a great view of the Wadden and North Sea. Seals regularly lie on the waterfront. Nature reserve De Slufter is 5.5 kilometers away. There are plenty of walking opportunities in the vicinity to the Wadden Sea, through the Krimbos and through the polder. Also nearby include De Texelse golf course, IJsboerderij Labora (ice cream farm), Texel Paracentrum and the airport.

You have your own entrance. Welcome drinks can be found in the fridge, coffee cups and tea (in different flavors) are in the room. There is crockery and cutlery. You can regulate the temperature of the room and bathroom yourself. Various walking and cycling routes are in the immediate vicinity. If you listen carefully, you can hear the murmur of the sea and sometimes the hammering of the great spotted woodpecker that lives in the bush behind Bed & Beach. This is a ‘ZoTexels’ accommodation. There's plenty to see and do on Texel, including: *Roam through the Slufter *Climb a lighthouse and gaze out over the sea and mudflats *Cycle from De Cocksdorp through the dunes to De Koog and Den Hoorn *Cycle from De Cocksdorp along the mudflats to Oosterend and Oudeschild *Birdwatching, for example, at Utopia (The Spoonbill!) or the observation platform in Oudeschild *Visit the Flora Beachcombers' Museum in De Koog or admire "the dress" at the KaapSkil Beachcombers' Museum in Oudeschild *Sail on a shrimp trawler from Oudeschild *Hike at the Hors and the Horsmeertjes lakes *Take the Vriendschap Wadden ferry to Vlieland or spot seals *Shop in Den Burg or De Koog *Take a 15- or 30-minute scenic flight over the island in a small plane
