Oudeschild is the only village on the Wadden island of Texel that is located directly on the sea. This bed and breakfast is located in a quiet street in this fishing village. The room is on the ground floor. Within a few minutes you can walk to the village center with a bicycle rental and the unique Museum Kaap Skil. The harbor is located directly behind the dike. There are tour boats with which you can fish shrimp, watch seals, sport fishing and mudflat walking. Beautiful cycling and walking routes, such as the Boerenroute and the old Skillepaadje, run around Oudeschild. Just outside the village lies the natural-cultural-historical area De Hoge Berg, with tuunwallen (traditional partitions between plots) and sheep fines.
