Location

The northern part of Texel is called Eierland. The area includes the polder of the same name and the youngest village on the island: De Cocksdorp. There is a real holiday atmosphere in and around the village. You will find numerous restaurants and nice shops with home accessories, gadgets and souvenirs. Guest room De Ploosterstraat is quietly located on the edge of De Cocksdorp. Your room is on the ground floor. The symbol of Texel, the lighthouse, is nearby. The beach around the lighthouse is impressively wide and offers a great view of the Wadden and North Sea. If you want to see seals, a seal trip on the Wadden Sea with the passenger ship De Vriendschap is recommended.

Ik en mijn hond Sarah hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad van 3 nachten. Lekker bedden ,eigen douche en toilet ,ruim en schoon. Voor de ramen die open konden zaten horren dus geen last van vliegen en muggen. Heerlijk rustig de omgeving en een vriendelijke gastheer. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
