The extensive forest and dune area is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park. That stretches all along the west coast. You can enjoy cycling and walking. Within 5 to 10 minutes you walk through woods and dunes to the North Sea beach. In the area you will find various attractions, such as museums, riding schools and an indoor swimming paradise.
