Detached holiday home near De Koog with large enclosed garden

The living room of this detached villa has a spacious seating area, TV and spacious dining area. Fully equipped open kitchen with, among other things, a combination oven and dishwasher. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and bath. There is a separate toilet downstairs. Space with washing machine and dryer in the storage room. Through the patio doors you enter the very large garden with lawn and sunny terrace with garden furniture. On the 1st floor there is a bedroom with 2 single box-spring beds, a sink and enough cupboard space. A second bedroom with 2 single box spring beds and a third bedroom with a single bed, an extra large pull-out bed and space to place a baby cot (for children up to 3 years). On the upper floor there is also a separate toilet with sink.

Residence Californië is a quietly located four-star apartment complex on the west side, near De Koog. The apartments, and some detached holiday homes, are located on the edge of the forest area, which is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park. Several of the cycling and walking routes through this protected nature reserve start practically on the doorstep. Within 5 minutes you can cycle to the vast North Sea beach (1.5 km). The seaside resort of De Koog is about 3 kilometers away. In the cozy village center you will find plenty of shops, terraces, cafes and restaurants. In the vicinity of Californië are several attractions and places of interest, such as museums, riding stables and an indoor swimming paradise.

Heerlijk mooi en gezellig huis, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

Alles was fijn, schoon en gezellig. Heerlijk huis, van alle gemakken voorzien, op een rustige mooie locatie. Enige minpunt waren de voor ons te zachte bedden.

Der Kontakt mit der Dame des VVV einschließlich der Schlüsselübergabe war ausgezeichnet und unkompliziert. Wir wurden sogar am Anreisetag telefonisch informiert, sobald die Wohnung bezugsfertig war, dass wir gerne schon früher als angegeben in die Unterkunft kommen können. Die liebevolle Einrichtung des Hauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen und ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Ecomare: At Ecomare seals and sea birds are taken care of so that they can later be released back to nature in a healthy way. Will you come and see seals, sea birds, fish and other sea creatures? Or do you want to learn more about the World Heritage Wadden Sea, the North Sea and nature on Texel? It's all possible at Ecomare. It is also within walking distance of the holiday accommodation. Sporty: There is no shortage of sports activities. Whether you like to walk or are looking for a real adrenaline kick: on Texel we have no boredom. Explore the 140 kilometers of cycle paths by (electric) bicycle, book a boat trip in the port of Oudeschild, hit a ball on the 18-hole golf course or take a special mudflat walk with a guide. Real thrillseekers take a parachute jump from Texel Airport. With so many different nature reserves, the view must be breathtaking.
