The four spacious and paved camper pitches are located in a beautiful and green area with plenty of peace and privacy. The camper pitches on the Koorn-aar have private sanitary facilities. During the winter period, only the camper pitches are available. In the event of frost, the sanitary buildings will be closed and you must use your own sanitary facilities in your own camper.

Location
Holiday park De Koorn-aar is located on the edge of the Texel forest, on the west side of Texel. From the park you can walk straight into the forest, where dozens of cycling, riding and hiking trails run. The forest is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, which runs from the southern tip to the lighthouse. You can cycle to the North Sea beach within 10 minutes. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is about 4 kilometers away and within 5 kilometers you are in the seaside resort of De Koog. In the vicinity are various attractions, such as museums, viewpoints and riding stables and an indoor swimming paradise. Due to its favorable location, the Koorn-aar is an excellent starting point for cycling and discovery trips on Texel.

Special about this accommodation
This fresh unit features a shower, sink, toilet, heating, an outdoor tap, cable TV hookup, and 10-amp electricity. Electricity is charged separately and must be paid upon departure (€0.99 per kWh). This means no more lugging dishes around the campsite or queuing at the restrooms. The holiday park offers many amenities: reception, laundry, snack bar, playground and sports field, bike rental, and restaurant. A supermarket is 150 meters from our park. During the summer months, the recreation room is open and a recreation team is on duty.
Important to know
When booking this campsite, you must indicate the type of camping equipment you will be bringing to Texel (camper) in the options. The campsite is open from the end of March to the end of October. In July and August, you can only book per week and the changeover day is on Friday. Young people up to 21 years of age are only welcome under the supervision of their parents. In the winter period, only the camper pitches are available. In case of frost, the sanitary buildings will be closed and you must use your own sanitary facilities in your own camper.

Tips for your stay
Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
