Holiday park De Koorn-aar is located on the edge of the Texel forest, on the west side of Texel. From the park you can walk straight into the forest, where dozens of cycling, riding and hiking trails run. The forest is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, which runs from the southern tip to the lighthouse. You can cycle to the North Sea beach within 10 minutes. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is about 4 kilometers away and within 5 kilometers you are in the seaside resort of De Koog. In the vicinity are various attractions, such as museums, viewpoints and riding stables and an indoor swimming paradise. Due to its favorable location, the Koorn-aar is an excellent starting point for cycling and discovery trips on Texel.

Special about this accommodation
This fresh unit has a shower, sink, toilet, heating, an outside tap, connection for cable TV and electricity (10 amps). The electricity is calculated separately and must be paid on departure. That means no hassle with washing up about the camping site and no more queuing at the sanitary building. There are many facilities at the holiday park: reception, launderette, snack bar, recreation room, playground and sports field, bicycle rental, restaurant. Supermarket 150m from our park. A recreation team is active in the summer months.
Important to know
When booking this campsite, you must indicate the type of camping equipment with which you come to Texel (camper) in the options. The camping area is open from the end of March to the end of October. From the second week of July to the penultimate week in August you can only book per week and the changeover day is on Friday. Young people up to the age of 21 are only welcome when accompanied by their parents.

Mooie plek en voor herhaling vatbaar! Minpuntje was dat je na een douchebeurt en waterbaket in je privebadkamertje kreeg. Probleem was bekend, het water kon niet goed aflopen vanwege verzakking.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
