Camping De Hoge Kamp is a small-scale, friendly farm campsite where you can enjoy camping. The campsite is centrally located at about 1.5 km. van Den Burg, the capital of the island of Texel. The beach and forest are within cycling distance. Almost a third of Texel consists of nature reserves. In the middle of the island is the Hoge Berg nature reserve, the oldest part of the holiday island. In this area you can walk and cycle between typical Texel garden walls and sheep farms. At the foot of the Hoge Berg lies the 'capital' of Texel: Den Burg. In the pleasant center you will find many restaurants and a mix of well-known chain stores and special shops. Camping De Hoge Kamp is located in a quiet and rural location on a sheep farm, just outside Den Burg. The North Sea beach is 6 kilometers away.
